Age Of Empires I was my dad's favorite game when he was young, so I tried it out myself and it was EXTREMELY slow, and I didn't quite get the aim of the game or even how to move a guy, and thank god that they made new versions of the game.
Age of Empires II is a much better game than Age of Empires I, but it doesn't have the best graphics. It is a blast to play.
Age of Empires III DOMINATES!!!!! It has awesome graphics, an amazing campaign mode, it is super easy to understand, and it has outstanding battle scenes and sounds.
Check out these bundles. The first one includes Age of Empires I & II and expansion packs, and the second one includes Age of Empires III with both expansion packs (Asian Dynasties is the best). If you can only get one, then get Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties.
